UnhitchAudit/1.0
What our audit bot does on your site.
Someone asked for a free Unhitch audit of your website. Our bot identifies itself as UnhitchAudit/1.0 (+https://unhitch.tech/audit-bot) and reads your public pages the way a visitor's browser would.
What it does
- Loads your homepage, your sitemap and up to 150 linked pages.
- Reads public files such as robots.txt and a plugin's readme, and checks whether your login page is public, using only GET and HEAD requests.
- Respects robots.txt for every page beyond the homepage and sitemap.
What it never does
- Submit forms, try to log in, or send anything designed to test or exploit a weakness.
- Read anything behind a login.
Security findings come only from what your site shows publicly, matched against a list of known vulnerable versions.
To stop the audits, block the user agent UnhitchAudit in robots.txt or email hello@unhitch.tech.
